What's this screw for?

Hey if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. This unknown screw is located on the driver's side of a 2007 Toyota Corolla.

ummmmmmmm. . .

is this a trick question. . .i don't own a corolla but if that black pan isn't the 'oil pan' then the only other black pan it just might be is the Transmission pan. . .i see you or someone tried to drain it and got your redish looking transmission fluid everywhere. . .i'd say drain it all the way without filling it up and drive your car as fast as it can go while in the "1" position if it is an automatic. . .who needs tranny fluid anyway!. . .no just kidding, don't do that. . .
