Bent Rim...

2 Attachment(s)
Was on the highway the other day and hit a huge pot hole. Cars on either side so I just had to take it :icon22:.

Anyone have an idea how much it will cost to get this fixed? I bought the rims with a bit of rash on them so disregard that.

wouldnt it make more sense to take it to a few rim shops(that fix rims) that can actually see the rim in person than to ask a site. Bottom line no matter what we say we're not the ones that will be fixing it nor do we know what kind of damage is in the barrel of the wheel.

Of course it would make more sense, but it doesn't hurt to get an idea as well as learn about any reputable shops.

I'll give that shop a call, thanks Flo-Rida!!

Any more suggestions are welcome.

No worries homie... They did work on some Enkei Aegis' I had in my Lex and they did sweet work. I worked at Lexus of West Kendall in parts for 5yrs and we dealt with Turbax. I wasn't thrilled with some of the work we got from them for customers.

I went to Wheels of America too. They were good. I would go there again if my rim bent. But there re-chroming is bubbling after a year. So I would go to fix the bent rim, but not for re-chroming.

BUT does anyone in So Flo know a good shop for re-chroming?

Thanks.

If that were a Rota rim, everyone would be complaining about the "poor" quality. I haven't heard a word about that since this is a Works wheel. Very interesting. That picture simply proves that any wheel can get bent.

Wheels bend guy but Rota's are prone to cracking, poor finish, sometimes they don't balance. I don't think anyone care's... To fix this wheel and refinish it costs as much as one Rota wheel. Oh not to mention I had Rota's on my civic.. lol.

Whats up dude.. I see your cousin left West Kendall Lexus. As for chroming I'm not too sure.
