Can anyone tell me which sensor is Bank 1 sensor 2 please?
My CES light came on, went to autozone and got P0037 code. I went ahead and bought the a universal o2 sensor. Guy at autozone told me it was the rear sensor. I changed it but my light is still coming up and reading the same thing. Don't know if I'm changing the wrong sensor or not.
Could anyone help me out ? guy said it was Bank 1 sensor 2 that needs to be changed, which one is that ?? thanks |
Did you look in the Top 100 Questions thread? It's answered there.
It's also answered in the Nissan DTC thread sticky at the top of this forum. |
Bank 1 Sensor 2 is Passenger's side, AFTER Catalytic Converter.

Personally if I were to replace the sensors, I wouldn't do universal ones. Most of those have to be spliced onto your harness. Why not get sensors that plug-and-play just like the OEM ones?

Note: the Universal type just has 3 wires that need to be tapped onto the harness. Whereas the OE type has a plug on it. |
