Window motor works 100% but window switch doesn't??

I've searched and only found details on cleaning the regulator motor, however this won't solve my issue!

My passenger side window doesn't roll up or down when using the driver side or passenger side switches however I can still roll it down perfectly using the key fob, and it rolls back up when I use the out side lock key method...it doesn't even show any signs of the motor goin out! It's just the switches don't work...anyone experience this problem before?? It doesn't make sense to me haha

Replace the switch - if that solves the problem - bingo!

What's the likely hood that both door switches for one window go out at the exact same time tho...some other ideas may be nice to try before I start buying switches...

No one has had a similar issue?

I have the same trouble - my passenger side switch works its way loose from time to time, so I have to go in and really push it into the connector.

i'm having the exact same problem. did you ever figure it out?

Having the same issue. The window doesn't roll down from either inside the car or using the key fob.. So i'm gonna say its the motor, cause I can hear the switch inside the door trying to click over.
Gonna purchase a window motor and do a write up on replacing it(attempt too)..

My car is doing the exact same thing. window motor works (operates from key on door) but both driver and passenger side switches do nothing. no clicking no nothing. they worked just fine yesterday, then i got a car wash, operated the drop top open and close, then boom, switches dont work. something shorted out maybe?

well my son's 07 350Z started doing just that, he tells me the passenger window wont go down but it does the 1/2 inch shuffle when opening/closing door, so having had this issue on my 03 350Z I assumed it was the motor.

But it still bugged me because of how it was doing the shuffle so easily so I checked it and it would go down and back up using the lock/unlock with the key as well as using cipher to activate the BCM, so I checked fuses and all good, then I noticed he had the window lock button pushed down, so I depressed it and guess what the window works fine now!!!

Might be obvious but worth a look depending on your symptoms, never overlook the easiest solution
