Climate control won't turn off

Hey guys I have been a 350z owner since this past Monday and man its been amazing so far. The only thing that I noticed that's weird is the climate control system.

Tonight I went to turn toff the climate control and it kept blowing air through the vents with force as if i had it set to maybe 50 or 60% power even though the knob was set to off. If turn the third knob to auto then it feels like the vents are off and it stops sending air through the vents with any force. I did some searching on the forum and on google but no one from what I have found has had this problem. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be wrong? Its not a big problem but just kinda annoying I guess.

btw plz dont flame me if this is a topic that has been talked about 1000 times I am new :)

Try to pull off your shifter bezel and see if the ribbon cable on the plug to the climate control is damaged... Mine got pretty beat up due to swapping stereos constantly and I had the same problem...

+1 has to do with that ribbon, look up a short shifter diy or something and it will show you how to access it

Thanks guys!. I took it off today and unplugged and replugged in the cable and all is well now. I guess maybe the cable just came loose or something. I also did the penny mod for the trunk springs so it pops better.
