Hard Clutch, Stock- anyone else with same problem?

Hi everyone, I was wondering, my car is an 03 with the stock clutch, and it has 110,000 miles on it. all highway, as i commute. But the clutch has always been tough, really hard and its never really bothered me til lately when my friend used my car, and said that is not normal.... Well, ive lived with it for 8/9 years, but i have noticed that it has gotten somewhat tougher. Is this common with the stock clutches on the 03' model? Im talking really hard to where after ive driven it for a few hours that i literally get leg cramps.... Has anyone changed their clutch out just for this reason? thanks in advance Lorin
Also, what is the cost on labor and parts to have it done?

In my honest opinion, I also tried out my friends 03 Z and it also had a stiff clutch compared to my 08. I believe that the later years Z was a bit softer. That's completely normal for an 03 and if you've lived with the habit of the clutch being a bit stiff then don't worry about it. Just my two cents.

i changed mine out for that reason.. thers something to do with the age of the clutch, the wear ( even if not burned, jsu the wear) that moves the engagement point or something similar. dunno the exact term or function..

but needless to say its why ppl with an old clutch get a new JWT clutch and say it feels soft.. becuase they are used to a gradually stiffer and stiffer clutch as their OEM wears out.

new clutch 769 for jwt combo w flywheel, at least it is at Intense Motorsports.. you cant resurface your oem flywheel.. its dual mass.. needs to be replaced, especially at 110k miles.
labor usually between 350-500 bucks
buy a new master and slave and ss line while youre in there.

The OEM clutch can last 110,000 miles, but you are pushing the serviceable life. The clutch is tired and worn. Get yourself a new clutch and flywheel. Plenty of recommendations here.

Early Present? :D I've actually experienced some what the same with the 2003 G35, but not as severe as it sounds. I recently upgraded to the JWT as well!

As the clutch wears the pedal will become stiffer. You get used to it gradually, a new clutch will feel like a feather compared to a worn out stock clutch.
