Can someone help me figure out this noise
I haven't even had time to look into this noise, but it's getting a bit embarrasing at idle in traffic. Gotta fix it just don't even know where to start. Sounds like a pulley bearing, but which one ehhh...

I've been having this problem for weeks now! i changed my idler pulleys but noise still remained. Took it to Nissan and they say its probably the tensioner, but i dont think its the tensioner. Try turning your ac ON and tell me if the sound goes away when the AC is ON

I couldn't tell much from the video.
If you want to check out the belt driven accessories, disconnect the battery and take the belt off, and then spin the pulleys by hand. If there's a failed bearing it will be fairly obvious when you go to turn it.
I don't know if it's safe to do on a 350z, but on other vehicles I've removed the belt with the engine cold and cranked the engine briefly. All kinds of warning lights will come on, but if the noise goes away you'll know it's something belt driven. If the noise stays you'll know it's something else. I believe the water pump is driven by the timing chain, so it's a little harder to eliminate as the source of the noise.
Someone else may chime in on whether it's safe to run it briefly without the belt. I think it would be, as it just runs the power steering, A/C, and alternator.
