Do a search on what other members have done about interior scratches.
It seems that at least every week there is a post about this same problem.
IMO,the parts have to be removed to get a presentable refurb unless you
go the dash kit route that a material is applied over the damage.
Some owners have been very creative.Don't know why someone has not
used a black wrinkle finish on their interior parts...?

I've never plastidipped before, but that might look good just based off of the look of the finishes I have seen on emblems and such. You can try it, and if you don't like it, just pull it off.

I took the parts out and wet sanded them very lightly with 800 grit then used Duplicolor interior spray paint in flat black. It was a perfect factory match.

I know, about 8 of them in a week.

Mine was all torn up around the radio and right above the AC. I just popped it off sprayed a couple coats of plastidip on it and it's as good as new. Problem solved :)
