car won't go into gear. HELP!!!!

so like the title says my Z won't go into gear. Its an 03 i just had the JTW combo installed about a month ago with the ssc line. i turned the car on this morning and the shifter was locked out. when the car is off it shifts smoothly. I replace the master and the slave cylinder and bled it for a couple of hours. I bled it the old fashion way and i tried to gravity bleed it. Went thru a couple quarts of brake fluid. the clutch pedal is nice a firm and returns perfectly when the car is off. When i turn the car on, the pump is smooth and the car goes into gear. once i let of the clutch is depress it again it gets soft and the gears lock out again.

any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

I'm at a loss. Sorry I don't have any more suggestions.

You might want to consult a professional mechanic. I'm sure the problem can be fixed.

Honestly this exact thing happened to me and had to pull the transonic to find out the fins on my pressure plate were messed up and needed to replace my pressure plate do that's honestly your best bet, pull the trans .

Might be a bit drastic, but certainly a possibility. OP, can you see the travel of the clutch fork? If it's moving within spec, then you've got an issue with the clutch itself. I've got an '08, so I'm not sure what your setup looks like.

assuming they were not torqued down properly if that was the case. who did the work initially?

im assuming that what happened.:dunno: it was done by a shop. i just add some medium strength loctite and torqued to spec

that sucks, but at least it was something halfway simple
