06 track clicking from front end while braking?
I changed all my brakes and rotors about 3 weeks ago, and everything was great. A few days ago while at a drive through, I noticed when I rolled back and then went forward a little and hit the brakes, I would hear a click/thud from the front left/maybe even right. Imagine you put a rotor on the studs, and then pushed it to straighten it up, that slight metal on metal thud. I took off the wheels and inspected the brakes/rotors and everything looks good. No bolts missing, nothing seems out of the ordinary, therefore I don't think its the brakes. What gives?? I attached a video, sorry about portrait mode -___- i recorded in landscape. |
check your dust shield behind the rotor, that is what it kinda sounds like to me
is it only when you hit your brakes or all the time moving? |
Someone else said it might be my control arm bushings starting to walk.
