Brake lights turn on with headlights, but wait - There's more!
Good evening all,
Just so everyone is in the loop - I have a 2005 35th anniversary nissan 350z. Only thing not stock is the headlights, tail lights, and LED licence plate lights. Now that the formalities are finished, let's get into the ugly issues I'm having. I took my car to the body shop to get the rear bumper fixed, I left it there from Wednesday-Monday. Got the car and the rear bumper looked like nothing ever happened, my car was beautiful once again. I didn't notice the issues until later that night. Come to find out, my brake lights came on when I turned on my headlights(not DRL's), and I mean they stayed on, so if I pressed on the brakes, you couldn't tell. My rear left brake light is out, it won't cut on for anything. My remote start also does not work, not to mention when I press on the brakes my DRL's come on for however long I have the brakes pressed down. There's more though, not only this, but when I was driving on the interstate(and this only happened on the interstate) my ABS, Slip, and VDC Off lights came on and stayed on until I turned the vehicle off. There is still more! Not only are all these issues occuring, but my cruise control will not work either, I'll turn it on and "SET" keeps on blinking, it will not allow me to set a speed. One last thing, I promise this is it. Now, it's a 300HP car, so it moves when you floor it. For some reason, I will lay my foot ALL THE WAY DOWN, I'm talking pedal-to-the-metal and the RPM's slowly creep up, and when I switch gears and give it gas it jumps a little bit, it's like the throttle response is off.:( I am at a loss, I have no idea why this series of unfortunate events is happening now all of a sudden. It ran fine before I took it to the body shop, now everything seems to be going awry. :icon22: Any input or possible solutions is greatly appreciated and I will look into each and every solution provided. I will keep everyone updated as to the status of my ailments. Thank you for reading all of this.
