Question 2004 z parking light socket in head lights

Was putting new leds in parking light location in front ,appears have a short in power wire at back of socket. Looked online can find nothing as far as new socket available,Looked at junkyards nada, even looked for complete new harness (which i rather not do) nada there as well. Any suggestions at all. Thanks

see if you can find a wrecked one in a junkyard..... cut the socket off, and then do the same to yours, splice donor one on

Been there done, found one guy but would only sell the entire light assembly, didn't even bother asking the price on that, but thanks for the reply, I'll keep looking

Is there a problem with the led flickering or is it just not turning on?

I should have done my homework a bit more, come to find out my wiring and socket are fine, the leds I purchased were of the CAN bus design and the blade on these do not have a snug fit within the socket. I ordered a couple of 168 leds with the old school base which should take care of my issues. Appreciate the feedback .

Yup. Those cheap-*** Chinese e-bay LEDs will get you every time.
