350Z not accelerating

My 6 speed 350Z will not accelerate. The RPMs go fine, but the car does not move. I have changed the throttle body and the pedal sensor with no loci.

Did the DTCs suggest you change the TB and pedal sensor? And why would you change those if "RPMs go fine"?

What are the codes showing?

Clutch engaging?

Clutch pedal pressure?

Trans in gear?

Driveshaft wasn't stolen was it? Hey, it's carbon fiber composite! :icon17:

Parking brake off?

Is the engine running?

:icon17:

OK, sorta tongue-in-cheek there... but only point is that there's not enough info in your post to make any suggestions.

Sorry, but you're right. New to the forum!

The car very slowly began to rev higher and higher with less acceleration. That is when the "service engine soon" came on and I got the P0507 code and changed the throttle body. I even changed out the accelerator pedal sensor. I reset / relearned the throttle body, etc. Car cranks well and idles around 800. Clutch engages and has good pressure. I put it in 1st gear, car revs high but goes no where.

Clutch fluid is good, with no apparent leaks. I am thinking may be needs new clutch?

Did this whole problem happen suddenly or gradually?

Gradually. Got less and less power

get going in 4th gear at about 30 mph, then floor it. do the rpms jump up?

Ok.. Sounds like a typical worn-out clutch.

What year is the car?

Nissan specific DTC P0507 does point at idle controls (throttle control or actuator) but somehow I think that's coincidental and may not be the specific cause as the car sounds like it's running OK but no movement, pointing to clutch actuation.

When you let out the clutch pedal, does the engine change behavior (drop rpms or anything?)

I ask about the year because the '07/08 HRs with the concentric slave can exhibit "no hydraulic pressure" symptoms without visible leakage.

But I agree, this is all speculation and it might be time to take it in for a pro eval.

Since they said throttle ''body'', singular, I'm guessing it's pre '07.

Agreed. Just wanted to offer concurrence on your other points.
