So... one day i was driving home from school and the car just shuts off out of no where on just normal driving, fast forward we looked at it didn't find nothing and towed the car home. i searched the forms and i see the red light on on the dash and alot of people where saying that the immobilizer system was on and won't let me stat the car, but the other day i was driving just fine. i'm confused and also i don;t hear the fuel pump turn on when i go to start it i don't know if that is part of the NATS but i need the car starting by Monday please help. i also changed the camshaft sensors about 3 months ago.

Hoo boy- here we go again. Did you pull any codes from the ECM or BCM sections? Any more details on your Z (model, mileage, mods, etc.) and any reason you suspect a NATS issue?

it has 94k miles 2006 350z base stick manifold is ported and has cold air intake plenum dna rad and mishi fans and thermostat it was running fine with all this on
no codes showed up battery is good, reason i think its the red light is because the NATS red light on the dash doesnt turn off when key is in ready to turn on

Does your code reader have the ability to pull BCM codes? Have you tried using your backup key to start the car? Any difference?

sadly my car when i bought it it did not come with any backup key and no my code reader does not pick up BCM codes but i took it into nissan and they told me it most likely a BCM or NATS prob

Did you pay to have the Nissan dealer do a diagnostic scan? They should have a $15K Consult III diagnostic reader and usually charge an hour of shop time to use it. That tool can also reflash your current key to the NATS, so bring your title and BUY a backup key to be reflashed at the same time.
