Hey guys so i have a 350z 04, vq35de and i would like to know if deleting the pcv valve by adding a catch can would work to fix the blue smoking?

how severe is the blue smoke?
how many miles on the engine? are you rough on this engine? probably not ... blue smoke is burnt oil - correct? which likely means you have failing piston rings |

The de engines are known for burning oil, but I would find it hard to believe the piston rings are junked at 88k miles, although I don't know the history of the engine. I would get some solid information before writing the engine off/ rebuilding it. |
