won't start, strange electrics
 

My 2004 Nissan 350Z convertible won't start. Dead. No power to the starter. It started right up 2 weeks ago when I last moved the car. No previous indication of anything weak or failing.

• battery fine (tried to jump start anyway)
• Only 3 dash indicator lights go on - Seat belt, brake, battery. No other indicator lights appear like wrench, headlight, engine indicator... etc.
• Radio, headlights, do NOT go on. Only the 3 indicator lights.
• soft solenoid switching sound near battery, switches on and off. the engine fan turns on and off in time with the switching sound.
• all fuses fine (unless there are in-line fuses buried somewhere that I don't know about.)
• I bypassed the clutch sensor with a paper clip. no luck.
• No scan codes

I'm stumped. And we're just getting into convertible season. Grateful for any light you can shed....

Welcome- have you checked voltage of the battery? When was it last replaced? Next, have you checked all connections and cleaned grounds?
