Any tips on bleebing Brembo's

I wanted to flush my brake fluid so I tried using a one man vacuum bleeder attached to an air compressor. I must have done something wrong because the brakes are not firm. I had a difficult time determining if I was getting air bubbles bacause I think I was sucking air in from around the bleeder. I am thinking I will have to enlist the wife to help with the old fashioned technique. What am I missing?

I know a couple guys who have used vacuum bleeders on Brembo cars and had crappy feeling brake pedals. Both time we've gone back and done them by hand and the brakes felt perfect. 1. Get a helper and do it by hand, 2. Be sure to do both bleeder screws. I do outside first, then inside, then outside again. In the order of LR->RR->RF->LF. Check the reservoir often to make sure the fluid level doesn't get too low and suck in air while bleeding.
