*UPDATED*GQ Spring Collection 2006: He's back ya'll.

Well, I'm back. Of course I was waiting to post till I could get my hands on a pro shoot, but I can't wait. The car looks INSANE in person, and I will get even BETTER pics soon. These were taken with my point and shoot etc.

Onto the mods:

Basically everyone and their mom is doing the Ing's kit. Ok fine, I gotta remix it a little bit, I ended up molding the rear valence, which as far as I know am the first to do on a 350z, period. The paint match is dead on, 100% match, PPG.

Notice the subtleties, I painted the roof SL55 black, with extra coats of clear to get that "Glass" look to it. I'm also the first to do this on a DB (to my knowledge).

As far as my rim and tire setup:
Currently running 255/35/19 in front, and MASSIVE 295/30/19's in back

Audio setup: Inverted 13w7, again the first to do this (thanks bing)

General modlist:
Complete Ings Half Kit (molded) and Wing
SL55 black roof
Tanabe GF210
Volk SF Winning 19x9.5 +19, 19x10.5 +17, 255/35/19, 295/30/19
Rolled fenders
JDM Clear Corners
Cleared Headlight Assemblies
LED everything
13W7
Elemental Nine.2x
Elemental Nine.2
DLS Ultimate UR6s
Suede kickpanels
Monster XLN PRO Everything(the waterhose wiring haha)
JWT Popcharger

Sponsored by my wallet. I hope you guys notice that everything I have done I'm pretty much the first to do. Everything I have done most shops or people said was "undoable" and I proved them wrong--one thing which I pride myself with and keeps my Z different from all the other ones out there.

I'll let the pics speak for themselves:

In the end, EVERYTHING was worth it and the Z is FAR from done. I hope this post gets far more posts than all previous postings by me...(I think my gf breakup was 140 ish hahaha) so lets beat that, tell me what you think guys.

exterior is looking very "clean". might i suggest some aftermarket mirrors (perhaps veilside). love what you did with the roof too!

sq40 May 5, 2006 05:10 PM

That house is fantastic! (The Car is too..)

GQ 350z May 5, 2006 05:14 PM

Thanks. Thought I'd mention that I've always had an identity crisis with my Z. I've always wanted to go for a DTM look with it, and think I've executed it well. Looking to join some high end euro/show crew soon.

Wow:icon11: Nicely done...my Norcal bro:) Love the molded rear end and the wide stance. Damn, u make me want to redo my rear spoiler and get different offsets for my wheels...:icon38:

gt3 May 5, 2006 05:29 PM

One more thing, how come the left rear looks lower than the right side? Uneven driveway???

GQ 350z May 5, 2006 05:32 PM

The driveway is circular, and inclines down at a very very slow pace which accounts for that.

Please be assured the car's stance is flat =)

Thanks everyone.

Love the look you're going for...I would try and find something to do with the mirrors..I've not looked into mirror changes on the Z but they look a bit out of place...Still a very nice look, I love the spoiler looks awesome

GTNPU Z May 5, 2006 05:41 PM

Very nice! :thumbup2: :coolio:

Now you need some nice exhaust tips sticking out from the rear ;)

Can't wait to see it in person tomorrow :icon44:

GQ 350z May 5, 2006 05:48 PM
