hahah yea that was my car.. they were fixing up my SC.

here's the engine with a custom polished strut bar  It's too bad the G did not come with a strut bar like the Z.. but the aftermarket ones available are pretty nice.

Good Place to have your car done. So like how long did it take to get it done? How's it perform to your expectations that you wished to acquire. I'm about to do the same shortly with the 4.2L engine build at the same time. I know they're very friendly, I visited them one day and it was amazing as to the size of the shop. Pretty much sold me just by the friendliness and the people I talked with there. I can see it becoming one of if not the biggest and best shop in Calif in my opnion. I was originally going APSTT and I have a new one in the box (2 boxes actually) in my garage, which I will put up for sale in the market place, because the vortech is carb cert and that's importment to me. Give a little about your experience with it mean machine. Thanks.

imalazeeass May 8, 2007 06:53 PM

So you're going to build your motor but keep the vortech SC? I think you should keep your APS TT man it'll be a totally different experience. I don't think the vortech requires you to build your motor but it never hurts I guess and will give you a piece of mind. IMO the vortech really changes the car.. and it makes it sound like a total beast. You can probably find some nice reviews on it here since it's pretty popular. As for the shop, you definately want to bring it there as opposed to a place with less experience because this is not something you want to skimp on just to save some money. My original shop took about 3 weeks or so.. GTM was simply fixing some of the problems from the install. I would assume they would take about the same time. Don't forget, they have the pickup service now too so you may want to take advantage of that.

That right there is an awesome well done pic. So smooth and clean. :rockout: That should be your new Avatar, or at least your background on the computer.

WSchli1672 May 8, 2007 07:40 PM

I would but due to the certified carb problem for CA, it's much nicer to be legal. And George very easy going person that works with people well. Anyway it's only a street given car and I won't be tracking it. Hope to keep decent gas mileage, so I should be good to go. Can't wait.
