PLEASE tell me this can be done!!!
I finally found the 20" Ferrari BBS wheels they are using on alot of the new models. They apparently wont fit a Z, but is there any way that it can be done???
BBS CK 20" http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/1...kbsci3lvh8.jpg http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/9...nthci3lnd9.jpg here is a PS http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/1915/dsc07324nc9.jpg |
y wont they work?
|
if the wheel to hub dimension are off, then it won't work. the Z's diameter is 5 X 114.3. if that number doesn't match the rim, then the holes are off and won't work. well, they can, if you redrill them, but that just messes up the rim.

so there is no way of changing our hubs?
|
The CHs are slightly different but similiar (actually, I think they look better):
https://www.tirerack.com/images/whee...s_ch_ci3_l.jpg I'm 99% sure I have seen these on a Maxima, so getting them for our bolt pattern shouldn't be an issue. Getting CKs in our bolt pattern shouldn't be an issue really either though, just contact the company and have a set custom-milled. It's not as big of a deal as it sounds (I had a set of Kahn RSRs custom-drilled for a car I used to have; took 3 months to get them but they were not any more expensive than a set for another vehicle). |

also you have to realize that the wheels might not even fit perfectly. i've heard of some horror stories too. |
go wide body and get some adapters
|
you can get some adapters to match the bolt pattern from skulte.com they custom make adapters to your specs this will work, they come with their own studs.

Just get some Volks and stop trying to be a Ferrari
|

Ferrari owners will laugh? stop trying to be a ferrari? are you people stupid?? this is a retail BBS wheel, not exclusive to Ferrari, it is sold for Audi, Bmw, Porsche etc. it just happens to be the wheel Ferrari has on one of its cars and happens to be one of the only 20" wheels that isnt f*ckin ghetto.
I didnt know people would be so imature about this. |
Find out the offset and the bolt pattern and give these guys a call: http://www.wheeladapter.com/wheel_ad...el_spacers.asp
They will make custom hub adapters for you to accommodate what bolt pattern you want, and how much spacing you need. |

You should find out what the offset is on them, you're most likely going to need spacers to make them sit flush with the fender and not be sunken in, so you might as well get some adapters that function as spacers as well...
You'd have to find out the offset and width and do some math though. |
They do look hot, honestly though bbs is more of the audi, bmw, mercedes crowd. Its a euro look and when i was heavy into the bmw scene it was the "volk" of the boards. Props for being different but bbs just isn't a wheel that most people in the japanese car tuning scene consider.
