Got a burnt titanium ball shift **** and 3" extender from Garage Defend Motorsports. Coming from a Tommy Kaira Hebi Bebi was a hard pill to swallow. ~$50 shift **** + $40 extender= WAAAY better throw than the TK. On to the pix!!!!

Doesn't the extender make for longer throws.? Don't people generally try to shorten the throw for quicker shifts.??

There is a whole thing about this in another thread where I first saw the ****/extender. For me, the length of the throw doesn't matter as much as the smoothness of it. I daily my Z and hardly get out for spirited driving, and NO track time so it isnt a loss for me. No "alberto power/speed slamming shifts" for me! I took the Zed out for some spirited driving (to test out my new Hotchkis sways) and loved the throw on the ****/extender

I still OWN the TK, but a $250+ **** thats heavy as **** that still has notchy 2nd gear shifts? Maybe it's my transmission, but it only has ~15k miles on it, so I dont think so.... Oh, and the fact that the GDM ****/extender has NO "notch" to it.

BTW: my TK is NOT for sale so don't ask

Dropped them off at the differential shop god I can't wait to get the quaife & gears back car feel awful on the stock open diff.

She's currently going through some SERIOUS changes for ZDayz (vinyls, diffuser, etc), and I'll change over my garage and albums on here after everything is done. She won't look like a police car this time, but I definitely won't confuse her with another Z in the parking lot after we're done. No more pictures until ZDayz.
