It was! I saved for a while for my 'change the PC' project, since my old Dell 8400 was already upgraded to the limit and not cutting it. This one needs to beat the 5 year mark at least!
I do not play games that much anymore, but I did install a couple of games to test it and it worked pretty nicely. I mostly do heavy photographic applications with huge batches and this box is running those out without even breaking a sweat
I did have some minor issues on sound card config but nothing too serious.

I used to build PCs from components for fun... built probably well into 2 dozen ones. But as I got more and more occupied, I simply got tired of it and decided to go with pre-configured brand solutions (which I always can tweak at a whim
)But I agree, building a PC from parts is really easy these days!
