Finalized.. My stock 17's :P

Before you comment.. i dont care about your opinion that i should get new wheels rather than make my stock ones look nice, either comment on the wheels in the pictures or just dont comment at all.

they look tiny!! are you running a spacer at all?

I actually find the time attack 'ring' makes rims look smaller.

cavallino33 Sep 5, 2007 06:38 PM

I like it.

Rowlett Sep 5, 2007 06:39 PM

good work!!! But will they chip?

Richy350Z Sep 5, 2007 06:43 PM

the first and best thing to do to stockers. are spacers and a drop.

it looks good.

Motormouth Sep 5, 2007 06:45 PM

yeah, small spacers though... stock rims with flush spacing looks dumb. I'd do a 5-7mm spacer.

also, DROP THAT CARRRR!!! it'll look much better lower

kayfuNk Sep 5, 2007 06:51 PM

wheel spacer i shall do.. drop.. no can do.. it's my daily driver and i'd hit 159 things a day, i would have no front bumper after an hour if it goes any lower :P

teh_ginger Sep 5, 2007 07:01 PM

I like it. There's absolutely no need to drop it more.

no, i sanded, then wet sanded then primered then used car paint then clear coated.. they're chip proof.

Shift_Z33 Sep 5, 2007 07:36 PM

A local did that same exact thing to his 17's. Not bad I guess.

DevinB Sep 5, 2007 07:43 PM

Looks ok. Props for doing the work yourself.

i hate you<3. but nismo came on my car, and i hated them so i sold them, im not worried about exspense, i just dont need new wheels until im pushing enough power to need them. thats it.

sofa king Sep 5, 2007 08:05 PM

ah, i didnt know the situation.

synth19 Sep 5, 2007 08:09 PM

it looks good, but would look better without the bodykit. Not sure why you guys spend $$$ on kits before wheels.

he said the car came with nismo rims, so im guess the kit was on there when he bought it. But since he sold the rims, all he has is the kit now.

PWSHHOCKEY44 Sep 5, 2007 09:11 PM

not to bad man

Ianmtx Sep 5, 2007 09:25 PM

Yes if you're not going to buy the after market wheels, PLEASE get some spacers.

+1, i love how stock Z's with aftermarket wheels look vs body kitted cars with stock wheels. in any case, get some hotchkis springs minor drop but still noticable to make your car have a much better stance.
