Just posting up some quick pics i took due to my last round of mods i just finished up including the mastergrade hood. i installed the hood more so to round out my cooling mods and not for looks. i actually dont like the hood that much but as you can see in the pic's the left hand vent hole is placed right over the supercharger which aids in cooling the unit quite a bit! enjoy...........

looks great. not a fan of the hood either but its very functional. need some cwest skirts and rear aprons to finish off the look. love the bumper mods, great job.

dude i like your car...everything looks good... hey what size tires in the rear are you running.

the ambient temp today in vegas was around 70 deg F. I turned my interior heat on and cruised around to do one more coolant system bleed process. lets put it this way, my cooling mods worked so effectivly that i could only get luke warm heat out of the heater at full blast with the climate control turned to 90 deg. i am going to install a aftermarket temp gauge next to see what the actual running temp is. i was pretty impressed by this..........

my z only sees nice days. it has never been driven in the rain and i dont plan on it! she is not my DD, I have my titan truck for that.

galant350z May 22, 2008 07:56 PM

wow, looks so sick buddy! the rear bumper look lonely though

Cux350z May 22, 2008 07:57 PM

nice. Which oil cooler is that...............the black one or the silver.........what the 2nd one for.

more info on the intake is well, i see the filter nestled right behind the intake duct.

While not a crazy fan of the hood, still looks overall nice. Crazy how you can reach in there and touch most everything. Youll be able to pull the blower without popping the hood......lol.

love the charge pipe color. Im rethinking about PC'ing mine a different color, im not feeling the red anymore.

I have the Seibon TSII and my Vortech is also exposed. I drove home from ZdayZ in the rain w/o the rain guards, what possible damage can occur to the blower, belts, etc. Not to threadjack, car look nice Jet!

black cooler is a stillen unit ( main oil cooler ). silver cooler is a unit i put together myself ,it is a supercharger oil cooler. it cools the supply oil just before it enters the supercharger. as far as i know i am the only one who has ever done this on a z and it works pretty damn good. the intake tube i fabbed myself using some 3.5 dia aluminum tubing with aircraft scat tubing and at the end i installed a velocity stack. i just finished up installing a few components i had powder coated. i will post a pic of the engine bay!

they are not for looks. they are for functionability, additional cooling air to the radiator and intake. and i must say it works pretty damn good!:D
