My z's wrecked :( (flipped 3 times)
 

I never thought it would ever happen, but I guess at least i'm ok. Yesterday morning going to work (my first day at my new job!) I got on to the highway connector in new haven,(STRAIGHT AWAY AND DRY) as soon as I got on to the straight away and was just about to speed up my I lost steering and the rear swung away as if I was pitted(or hit) by another car. I tried to correct it but I couldn't move the steering wheel! lost all steering and flew across three lanes went over the curb, hit a cement electrical box and the flipped/rolled it three times down the highway landing on the roof. I was so pumped on adrenaline I undid my seat belt and crawled out the broken window faster then the witnesses 50 ft from me could run to me. It was like a save myself blur, just amazing. we're trying to find out what caused it but its hard to tell now. we think either someone hit me in the rear, or more possibly my after market upper control uppers, or ball joint went. my upper control arms did come loose a week ago so I tighten them up. but who knows what happened or let go. I don't want to point fingers at a after market company if I don't have any proof so I will just take it for what it is.

injury wise I am very lucky I just got some bad cuts from the glass. some air bag burns. a separated shoulder and neck and back damaged(not sure what yet)

WOWSER. Man you are very very lucky.

Very lucky you didnt have a passenger. At least you are all right though.

Dayum. That sucks... Good thing you're alive. Could've been a lot worse.

Thats whats cool about the Z or G , there have been a few threads over the years that if you looked at the pics you would say " man, that guy died" but the driver is usaly ok for the most part. Props to Nissan for that.

Wow man glad you are OK. Hopefully the back and neck injuries don't amount to anything serious.

wow im surprised you steering wheel airbag didnt come out.......side air bags seem to have worked great.

hey man i drive there all the time ive seen at least 3 cars flipped at the same spot in the last 3 years...at least you are alive. Sorry for your loss

man... that looks pretty bad. A passenger would have been seriously injured or killed by the looks of it. Glad you made it out ok.
