Default Car in the SHOP__OH BOY!

Went down to the shop to take a look at the progress. Sadly there were parts that fit god awful so the owners predicted hours changed and hes ended up a little behind...Also behind since hes pulling the rear fenders out 1" on each side.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Pic from outside Exotic Concepts

top down of rear fender and tire pokeage

Fender flaring start

new brakes

the **** fitment of my rear bumper....the bottom half of it is going to be cut and molded on to the factory bumper...It was over 1" from reaching the hatch and a 1/2" off in numberous places around the lights and side fenders...totally worth the $400 I paid for it..I guess you get what you pay for with replica.....

Yeah replica is hit or miss. Generally guys like Shine have a good rep, I think M1 too for the most part.

I want close to 1 degree camber with looooow offset so the car looks wide but is good in rain since its my DD...I want the best of both worlds...which Im getting.

But I do know 305s are fitting under Z's fine but the camber is an issue and rain driving causes problems.

That looks like an authentic Type II Chargespeed kit...how come you're having issues with fitment? It's a sweet kit never-the-less

Damn, you're letting them do the work while you're still on your Volks?

Anyhow, I can't wait to see the final product.

Yea, I never thought I would see the day someone was cutting my Z to pieces, its sad in that instant but thinking to the final product its nothing bu good thoughts.

I put 20mm spacers on the rear so I got +8 on the rear, be4 the alignment I'll adjust my camber to -1degree(-2 at the moment) for safer daily driving in rain..FL been getting **** tons. I'll be getting either 295 or 305 tires.

I'll be throwing up some more pics on tuesday or wednesday...

Thx for all the interest in the outcome guys.

as for the rims, no fear, they are going to have some post work done to them. I got the initial gold TA stripe taken off a few days back. Im getting it redone and the wheels spruced up a bit. That why Im not worried about him working while they are on.

The chargespeed is authentic, its the replica parts that are sadly not fitting. Im using do-luck rear and nismo v2 spoiler. Its a good and bad thing. I told the shop owner I want all these pieces to be, for lack of a better word, perfect. I wanted the parts to sit totally flush with the sstock body. The chargespeed side skirts and front bumper only have a few small fitment issues of 1/4" or 1/8" off parts...it looks great.

feels like I'm watching a Z horror movie though! lol...that looks painful as hell. Don't know how you do it...would have just lose the spacers instead of going through all that...may as well go widebody if you wanted to get more clearance.

I have alot of factory code paint for the car if you want it its yours. I am sure you could use the touch up paint since your car is a DD. It will help with all the rocks and what not. Let me know.
