Not an intentional thread derailing here but couldn't decide whether to post in the other "Hawaii Zs related thread" or here. Well, it's a "Your vehicle..." at least for couple weeks.
Island car.
Looking West from above Lahaina Town towards "Larry's Island" (AKA "Lanai").
It's not my Z but fun nonetheless.
OK, back to regular programming. If a mod wants to move this, go right ah.... oh wait..... ooops.

Trav actually asks a fair question.
Could be a determining factor on whether to go TT, mid or rear mount single, supercharge, LSX, or whatever your choices are.
Unless of course, you have a specific power goal in mind, say, "I need 450 ponies at the ground" then the specific choices are a little more obvious and cost/hp is almost irrelevant.
Then again, there's always the decision between "Do I spend $12k on a TT with supporting mods?" OR "Do I just go out and buy a car with 500 ponies already for just a little bit more than the cost to do up the Z? And have a second car to boot."
I laff but am living proof.

My comment was serious and wasn't meant to support Travis nor put toogood down on not knowing the $$/power cost.
Merely a statement suggesting the rational thinking behind a build. Like so many things I read where people ask about "Is this good?" or "What do you think of this part or that?" without telling what one wants out of it. Well, hard to say when no one knows what it's intended use is.
But a more relevant example is the "unfinished project for sale" on craigslist, results of someone who doesn't budget out the ENTIRE build from front to back, top to bottom then realizes it halfway through that "the knee bone is INDEED connected to the thigh bone" and can't afford to replace the knee socket.
One can dream of having 500whp underfoot but if one truly can't afford it, be happy with "only" 400 through an alternate methodology.
So no, I don't need any help getting off, thanks.

Well, cr@p. The Hotchkis sways are coming in before ZDayZ, Tokico D Specs still to be sourced. (Wrenches turning, Porter-Cable may need new brushes soon.)
