I saw SharX59 thread and it inspired me to finally make a recap of the last 3 years with my car and updates in the future.

Car is a 2007 350z base.

The first day I had the car

When I first bought the car I wanted to get Tein basics, work meisters, an exhaust, test pipes, tune and be done with it...that didnt work out. As soon as I started reading up on the car that's when my fascination started going crazy with what I could make the car.

First mods - Tein S techs/ichiba v2 25mm spacers all around

it stayed like that for a few months and then I got bored one day so my friend and I rattle canned the wheels grey.

after owning the car for a while at this point I thought it would be time for some bolt ons.

now at this point I loved the car, I knew I wanted to do some sort of motorsports, but what?

tried drag racing

wasnt really for me.

tried autox

it was pretty fun for me then. At my third AUTOX event I was working the course and got hit by a car that lost control. I was pretty out of motorsports for a little bit after that I wouldnt even go gokarting.

6 months later I ended up ordering some wheels

July 2011 I went to my first HPDE

after that it was game over, I fell in love with road racing. No more random mods at this point, I wanted to focus all my time, effort, and mods towards what could make me faster on a road course.

ended up getting an amuse bumper

then 3 track events later I went off 3 times in 3 sessions and broke it! :suicide:

ended up going back OEM bumper.

ended up dropping some cash on one of these things

so that pretty much brings me up to 2012. At this point im just tracking the car as much as I am able to, I would like to eventually go SPEC Z in about 5 years. I dont really have a set path other then putting stuff on that will make me go faster, oh and seat time! :icon38:

wish list - id like to get a 4 point roll bar, fixed back seat, and harness sometime in the next 6 months, not only a safety thing but staying in place in corners really helps.

I will keep the thread updates as I do new things to the car, this winter the car is getting a few new upgrades, im pretty excited about it! :thumbup:

hiii, i am behind u in your route, i am in the process now of trying different motorsports.. i tried drag racing, next week i will try drifting and then auto x. i feel also at the end i will focus in tracking the car!!

did u do rear spring mount cut when u went to the s-techs?

No I didn't do any spring mount mod. I still haven't been to a skid pad or anything :(

I started tracking, loved it, started racing, loved it. Now my cars a daily driven track car with godspeed parts.
