I moved to NYC a little over a year ago and haven't needed a car. I have been pretty quite on the forums, but still lurking. :thumb up: Figured i'd give one last post and just show it's transition.
Miss the car so much! This was the cars.com picture, it was an older guys car and he couldn't handle the clutch. So his son sold it, I got in '07 and it was an '05 w/ less than 12,000 miles. Attachment 409520 Obviously first mod...tints. Lol Attachment 409521 Did some audio stuff too... Attachment 409522 First wheels, minor other mods happening Attachment 409523 One of my favorite pics of the Z, this was the complete look with the XD-9's Attachment 409524 Had a short stint with one of my favorite wheels, VSKF's. Attachment 409525 Attachment 409526 I decided to go with a bit more aggressive look Attachment 409527 IFO in Gainesville, Fl. Won best stance and best Nissan. Didn't do many shows or events with my Z, but glad the one I did. I won! Attachment 409528 Attachment 409529 It's final look before being sold...it got keyed a while before and insurance paid for a paint job. So car fax showed it was in an accident because of that...sold it for $11k. But I was happy with the direction I went with my Z and who knows what I'll end up with when I live somewhere that calls for a car. This was an awesome community and happy to have been part of it! Attachment 409530 Attachment 409531 ...And these are just random blog pics that I liked. Attachment 409532 Attachment 409533 Learned a lot, will miss the Z! Thanks for looking  |
Loved your setup with the works and well the works hahaha.
Good luck bud. Chris |
Your Z was sharp.
Nicely done. U R gonna miss it. I don't think I would enjoy living someplace like NYC. I enjoy driving too much. |
Thanks Chris
Yea, I already do miss it. I knew i'd also miss driving a lot, but felt I had to experience NYC at some point. Lol |
I remember when you first posted your meaty setup with the works, it looked amazing from the rear. Will be remembered and missed!
|
pretty. wat replaced it?
|
Sad day for the z community, I hope the new owner has the same dedication to her as you did.
|
Bummer man! But I wish I had the balls to try something new like you are doing. Seems like suburbia has its claws into me pretty deep, though.
|
Thanks Esser, I appreciate it!
Saywat? NYC replaced it lol. Decided to pack up and move to try something new, the only thing I left in Fl was my Z :( kno, I really hope so too. My biggest fear is some douche bought it and ruins it...my father sold it, so no idea who has it. sry110, yea man. Just had to try something new while I'm still young enough with no kids. Thanks for all the nice words guys, the Z has a great community. |
ur dad sold it? I hope u told him if a Nigerian prince comes around trying to buy it, not to sell it to him lol
|
Beautiful car bro. It was what influenced me to get the bottom line sides long ago.
|
Bahahaha saywat? Thankfully that wasn't too much of a concern.
415mm That's awesome to hear, those were absolutely my favorite sides. |
Your Z was clean and tastefully done. Sucks to hear you parted ways with it, but I can understand how priorities change. Good luck in NYC!
|
Damn, another OG lost
This was a great buld, I remember back in the day when we were both running the VeilSide front lip! |
Thanks guys, tough for sure. So many awesome memories of time spent on the Z and the forum.
