yap, they really float along very nicely with this front bumper! Always loved Crom's Z....also have them on my 350. had a accident a few years back which destroyed my LX front lip and I was really looking into getting the same combo as Crom, but I went a different way with the ING's long nose type e bumper.....long story short, really looking forward to see the finished Z

They match up great with the long nose type e. Was it a challenge going to it from a lower lip? I'm always tried to be cautious with the Varis lip when parking, definitely failed once or twice though lol.

Thanks man! Body shop said they're aiming for Friday. Gonna be a long week.

it really does match up great...like it was meant to be
no it wasn't a challenge, always drove carefully with the bodykit/lip kit anyway...the thing that sucks is that the front of the long nose is way to far away from the front tires....so u really have to be careful with that....and yes it happened once that I curbed my LX Sports lip ruined the whole night
post up some pictures once u picked her up and I'm feelin with u waiting is killing me too

Yeah with any long nose front... you gotta be careful with clearance, especially when your car is lowered. With just a front lip, clearance is more forgiving but it doesn't look nearly as aggressive as the long noes.

XM - the ings combo look sick... can't wait to see yours abarclay.

I put a few cracks in old Nismo V2 rep bumper I had back in the day, and it was a lot thicker than the Charge Speed. I was actually kind of surprised at how thin the Charge Speed was/is.

I already drive fairly cautiously now, but it's probably getting turned up to 11 once I get the car back.

Edit: old pic I found on my computer

I didn't make it 30 minutes before scraping the bottom of the front bumper...on a little dip in the road lol. I'm going to raise the front up a hair on Saturday (hopefully) when the new wheels go on.

Here's the new look

Front: Charge Speed Type II
Sides: ings+1 LX Sport Hybrid
Rear: Vorschlag Design Version 1 (there is no Version 2, just in case you're wondering)

Thank ya sir! My buddy, James (I'm almost positive y'all have met), might ride up with us on Wednesday too

Hit me up if you're thinking about going to Formula D again. I'm just waiting to see what the weather looks like. Fingers crossed for clear skies on Saturday.

Thanks dude!

Sure thing. It's hard to see from the pics, but the "blade" is actually curved and shaped like an airplane wing, with the fatter part near the front. Much aerodynamics, such downforce

Man, your stance is perfect IMO.
New wheels too!?! Your car is getting a huge make over... new cloths and shoes, can't wait to see how those shoes go with that outfit. After the makeover feels like a different car don't it?

The entire combo looks good, well executed. What exhaust you running?

Thanks man! I'm not doing anything crazy, probably just 0.5 inches up front and 0.25 inches in the rear. Right now I've got riiiiiight around a finger's width room, but I'm bumping up from 245/35 & 275/35 to 255/35 & 285/35, and I think I'll need a bit more room. Offsets are pretty much the same: going from +11 F +11 R to +12 F +10 R.

Dude for real! It feels like a totally new car. Walking up to the front of it after getting Starbucks this morning, the first thought that came to my head was, "That looks likes a car that wants to eat your face" LOL don't ask why

I really think it's gonna look absolutely crazy with the new wheels.

Exhaust is a Motordyne V2, not the true dual though. I have the TDX mid pipe, I've just been dragging my feet at buying the longer axel back extensions.

A couple other pics...

Will you spill the beans on your wheel specs? How wide are your new wheels? I think 255/285 is the tire perfect size combo. Your new wheels will dictate how aggressive your new tire/kit combo will look so I'm anxious to see your wheel set up. My guess is you got the TE's or something Volk.

It's good to see some of us long time members still take care the Z like it's 2003. I sold my OEM shift **** for $120 bux last weekend to someone local. Shift **** is new, I took if off the day I brought the Z home back in 2007. He couldn't believe how pristine my car is (it's not) and called it a unicorn because you don't see a well kept 350z every day. I told him about this forum and how you'll see a lot of clean Z here so I hope he joins and learn even though this forum is dying.

Sure thing!

SSR SP1 (I missed my old ones)
19 x 9.5 +12
19 x 10.5 +10

Totally agree with you. My fronts currently are right where I want them, but my rears could use a 3-5mm spacer to match fitment of the fronts. With my new wheels, I wanted go with +5, but after checking with SSR, they wouldn't fit with my BBK. So I went with +10 and a meatier tire. And the circumference difference between 245/285 would have messed with the VDC, so 255 and raising the front up it is, which I'm fine with.

$120?! Nice!!! I think I sold mine for $60, I should have held onto the damn thing lol. Yeah it's definitely a different crowd buying and modifying the Z, but on the flip side, it makes the clean, well taken care of ones stand out that much more.

Haha thanks dude!

I got them on about a week ago, but I wasn't happy with the ride height, so I had to go back for a 2nd adjustment. Then it got rained on for a solid day, and I didn't want to post dirty pictures. And now I'm actually going back for another adjustment, the rear rubs with a full tank of gas. I just want to be done with it for a while lol.
