Really nice color choice, car looks good. I thought it might be too bright but as mentioned above it looks like the corvette light blue, I forget the name at the moment.

Fantastic job! Do you want to enlighten us as to what tools you used other than a heat gun and a squeegee?

Squeegee, heat gun, lint free cloth for rounded corners, break away exacto, knifeless tape for parts that needed two pieces, and rubbing alcohol to make sure everything was clean.

It doesn't take many tools, but it does take a lot of time. You definitely have to learn how to work the vinyl. It's not a project to be taken lightly if you're doing it yourself.

In the end, it isn't perfect. If you know it's a wrap and start looking at the edges and stuff you can see a few wrinkles and errors, but to most people it looks just like paint.

Ran some autocross with it yesterday, everything appears to be holding up fine. I suspect the 3m primer is helping a lot with that. Most everything is wrapped around the back, so even if it does lift it has nowhere to go. I did do the mudflaps rather quickly, and one has lifted, so it will need to be redone.

I'll try to remember to update here occasionally on how it's doing.

If its lifting its due to not prepping the surface enough. I have three cars all wrapped and its been over 3 years on one with no lifting or use of primer.

I think my problem was I did the flap in two parts and didn't leave enough overlap around the corner.

Prep is definitely one of the biggest things though. Any little thing shows up under the wrap. I had a cut on my finger, so I put a bandaid on to keep blood off the vinyl, but then I realized I was just getting strings from the bandaid all under the wrap, so I had to go back and pick them out.

Very nice color! I think some silver rpf1s would set it off!

That color nice Did you do it all by yourself or with an extra set of hands? Will rock chips show through the wrap??

I had 4 extra hands. It's totally doable by yourself, but that's lonely and would be a little bit harder.

Depends on the rock chip I'd say. If it's pretty small, I think the vinyl will usually just hang over the chip unless you really force it down into the chip. In general, I'd think it would hide small chips fine.

@meanz, I've been looking at some rpf1s for autox. I may not have a choice on color though.
