Put on 10mm spacers & extended studs courtesy of Z1. The old TEs were +15 and i kinda had thoughts of putting a spacer on. The new TEs are +22 so it sunk in 7mm more. Im pretty happy with the look in the rear now. https://c8.staticflickr.com/8/7316/2...73f45265_k.jpgIMG_1183 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7350/2...7215f756_k.jpgIMG_1184 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c6.staticflickr.com/8/7387/2...d74e9f5c_k.jpgIMG_1185 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7365/2...a54e9c87_k.jpgIMG_1192 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c6.staticflickr.com/8/7476/2...14f37e94_k.jpgIMG_1115 by sofa king, on Flickr I genuinely can't wait until StanceNation next week. Not even the show, just getting out of this shitty farm town i live in. Granted, i can blast down these deserted farm roads, but i miss civilization. |
The base held its semi-annual air show & it was a chance for me to walk around some planes i used to fly on. The sights & the smells brought back some memories. oh nastolgia!
Florida brought out an MC-130 Talon II https://c6.staticflickr.com/8/7715/2...5390b7e3_k.jpgIMG_0989 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c8.staticflickr.com/8/7105/2...27b07c65_b.jpgIMG_1112 by sofa king, on Flickr Flying for Special Operations was certainly difficult .If you look at the history of MC-130 crashes you'll see why. I didn't want to devote my life to the Air Force anymore & ultimately got out, but theres parts i miss. Heres a couple pics i took while doing my time. :D Sorry i didn't take you for a ride StuLax :o https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7650/2...d47d70c1_k.jpgIMG_6119 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c8.staticflickr.com/8/7488/2...8f2a9b07_k.jpgIMG_6125 by sofa king, on Flickr |
You track? Why not go with ARP?
|
not yet, but once i move i want to get into taking it to the track.
i didn't want to mess with removing the ebrake. |
It was only three bolts) :
|
the ebrake is only 3 bolts?
|
The ARP studs a super long and you have to remove the ebrake (which I had to do for my previous extended studs too) but for the ARP they are so long the only way they fit is removing the ebrake cable bracket (the 3 bolts I was referring to) and fit the studs through there

Had the car for exactly 1 year. Im up early this morning to head to StanceNation Texas. Its a 6 hour drive similar to El Paso.

I ****ing love that color!
|
Its always nice to hang with people that have the same sort of passion you do. Stance Nation was fun. Long ****ing day though, Roll-in was @ 8 am and the show ended at 7 pm. whew! No complaints though.
It was a pleasure driving on freeways w/ on ramps & overpasses, Damn i miss living in a city. Tearing up & down DFW was awesome! https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7304/2...3ff148e8_k.jpgIMG_1257 by sofa king, on Flickr Showed up @ 8am and got to cleaning. A 6 hour drive through west Texas left its mark on the car. But it was looking glossy as **** under the lights. https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7417/2...a2927fa3_k.jpgIMG_1291 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c8.staticflickr.com/8/7762/2...805ec4c1_k.jpgIMG_1264 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c8.staticflickr.com/8/7359/2...13e57623_k.jpgIMG_1349 by sofa king, on Flickr https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7416/2...2b9c5c5c_k.jpgIMG_1455 by sofa king, on Flickr Took this home. I was genuinely shocked! I was fully expecting nothing but just the pleasure of being allowed to participate in the show. Its truly enough for me to watch people look over the car & give me a thumbs up. Overall, good weekend! |
Homie your car is awesome! You have executed it so well! I didn't expect anything less from you with your old beauty...
