Photshoot: SS Z- veilside/Racing Hart J8's/etc.. NOT 56k SAFE!!!

I know my last shots sucked, here are some good pics of my 2003 350z Track (with Navi): 35% tints/Racing Hart J8's in gunmetal (5" rear lip), Blue Batmobile overlay on front reflectors, Veilside V1 Lip/TEIN S-Tech springs/Hotchkis Sways/Katzkin Orange Seats.

SWEET!!!!

Mine does sit a little lower with the Tanabe's. I love the vielside front lip but I read all the problems you had with it and it makes me wonder if I should get it or not.

Not to mention then we will look like twins!

synth19 07-12-2004 06:37 AM

The veilside was a pain because of the lack of instructions, but once I cut off what I needed, and got the holes aligned with the bolts...everything was fine..now I LOVE the look of the lip! If you do go veilside, alot of ppl have an easier time with urethane or fiberglass (less change of cracking because of bend-ability) -is that a word? :)

Just saw your thread, your springs look awesome! I love the drop...but can't risk going that low with my lip.... But, I am happy with the S-Tech's.

i say to go with the drop

other people are lower with other kits and manage just fine..it wont be as bad as you think....if your ONLY reservation is scraping then you should go for it

jcr847 07-13-2004 03:22 PM

your car looks ****in nice. love the almost black wheels on ss

synth19 07-13-2004 03:31 PM

I do have the car dropped (TEIN S-Tech's), I have already experienced with some scraping with these, I could imagine how it would be by going lower. :( But I don't want to prematurely wear my tires by going really low. Camber kits are outrageous with the Z.

Very nice car...all you need is a Greddy exhaust and cross drilled rotors and then it will be the almighty king!!! Good Luck

synth19 08-14-2004 08:31 AM

looked into the stillen cross drilled.slotted rotors... EXPENSIVE!

synth19 09-15-2004 08:12 PM

Nice car man, really clean. Lol, I was slammed on JIC's and I had - 3.9 degrees the camber looked retarded.

SIN3 10-10-2004 01:43 PM

what is the offset on the 19's in the rear to get such a large lip?

nice car dog.

synth19 10-10-2004 04:18 PM

The offset in the front are 26 on (19x9) & on the rear 19 (19x10)
