Yes, the track will be OPEN so drag race day is still a go.
If you're talking about UpRev, I went there, but they were closed. I didn't bother going back though.

And yes, you definitely need to redeem yourself from your last race day. Plus, that way, you can see how much the Vortech SC helped your car out. Dynos don't do jack except gives you numbers that are meaningless. It's a tool for tuning. Track is where you see the results.

Hey Guys, I've decided NOT to make the trip for several reasons; I can't stay the night, and it's a long way from Ennis to Houston/Pasadena, If my rookie *** screws up my car
I'd love to meet you guys someday at the track though.
Tonight instead I'll be at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown to try and improve on my reaction time, shift_ing and 1/4 mile time.
My best time (only been twice) so far in a bone stock 06 350 Z, 6 speed is:
.319
2.107
6.030
9.163
78.87
11.831
14.081
100.42
I can't wait til they tell me I need a helmet (I bought one on ebay and was hoping to get it by today)
Good Luck Fellas and be safe...

I'm glad I get to see a new face at the track! Where will you be coming from? I'll be traveling Southbound from McKinney area. Let me know if you want to cruise down together or something.
edit-
Creed: You should just come. Nobody taught me how to drive and I had to figure things out myself. Trust me on this - it's so much easier if there's somebody with you helping you out and giving constructive criticism. BTW, you won't screw up nearly enough to damage your car to the point of undriveability.

It will happen though, and thanks for all the encouraging words.
