hey man, I have heard you are the person to keep in contact with regarding 5AT being twin turboed. I am about to buy a GTM 28s turn key kit but im super nervous that my auto tranny wont be able to handle such power. My z is my daily driver and i intend to run around 6 to 8 psi on the norm. but still anything can happen i guess. I was just wondering if you know of any bulletproof way of keeping my tranny safe. Ive considered valvebody upgrade but is that enough?
The 700bb kit flows enough for approximately 500-550 whp on pump gas and from 550-600 whp on race fuel. The 530 flows enough for 350-450 whp on pump gas and becomes inefficient after that. The 530 will spool sooner and quicker than the 700bb. It's all a trade off on whether you want low end torque or mid range torque.
