FT 370Z 19 Inch Sport Rays for 18's *CLOSED*
TRADE COMPLETE I am looking to trade my stock 370Z sport package 19 inch wheels for a set of 18’s for track use. Honestly, I would be fine with a set of stock 350Z 18 inch wheels as long as they are all 9 inches or wider.
http://www.the370z.com/members/resip...967-wheel1.jpg My rims are in perfect working condition with no cracks, no bends, and they all hold air. However, they do have some small nicks and blemishes in the finish and one rim has some minimal curb rash. http://www.the370z.com/members/resip...968-wheel2.jpg The front wheels have Bridgestone RE050A’s with almost no wear. http://www.the370z.com/members/resip...972-wheel4.jpg The rears have Continental Sport Contact 2’s with pretty severe inside tire wear. http://www.the370z.com/members/resip...969-wheel3.jpg Likewise, I am not concerned with minor curb rash or surface imperfections as long as they are in perfect working condition. I also am not concerned about the tires. I am looking for wheels 9 inches or wider (assuming that they can fit on my car). Although I would prefer a square setup I am fine with a staggered setup. Honestly, I would probably be fine with a mismatched set front to back as long as they are quality wheels and the offset works (ie two front wheels from a 350Z track 2 and two front wheels from a 350Z Nismo). I am not willing to trade for any junk wheel because weight is a concern for me. If I do not recognize the brand of rim I will need to know how much they weigh. For those who are not familiar with the 370Z sport wheels they are forged rims made by Rays Engineering. The fronts are 19 inches in diameter, 9 inches wide, and have a +47 offset. The rears are 19 inches in diameter, 10 inches wide, and have a +30 offset. |
those are only 23lbs. most stock 350z wheels are around 25.6 iirc. unless you get the track wheels.. but those are only 8.5" wide

I want to run Toyo R888 275/40/18 on all four corners. The problem with 19's in my current size is that I would need to run 265 up front and 295's in the rear. It is so much easier to run same size tires at the track, That way you only need to bring one spare for an average weekend.
I am not an expert on stock 350Z wheels. It is my understanding that that there are two models that came with 18 X 9 inch +30 offset wheels in the front. Obviously for this to work someone would need to have 4 front wheels. The only reason I would accept the increased weight of the oem wheels is because I know they are strong. |
Also, is this thread in the correct section or should it be in the market place?

I have the 2006 anni. rims with brand new tires
specs Front Size: 18x8.0 Offset: +30mm Weight: 24.4 Tire: 225/45/18 Rear Size: 18x8.5 Offset: +33mm Weight: 25.8 Tire: 245/45/18 |
My tires are a little wider than stock specs though...if you're interested text me 24065478six8

Thanks, but 9 inches is an absolute minimum. Track tires are very tempermentual about rim width. They may fit a smaller rim but they lose effectiveness.

Are you doing an HPDE? If so I've done countless HPDE's in my 350z with stock 18's, michelin super sports and and 25mm and 30mm spacers. They have held up to very hard track abuse for years. Have you tracked your Z before?

Here is a picture of the inside of my car. http://www.the370z.com/members/resip...roll-bar-1.jpg |
Well I can see why you want 9 inch rims. You're going to have to piece together a setup. Have you been to VIR? I've done it a few times. I'm in the yellow group for trackdaze. I'm almost ready for the black group with means passing anywhere anytime. I need to be in the black group so I can get my competition license for my spec racer ford I will be fielding next year with my best friend.

Yes. I have been to VIR. It really is a beautiful track. Although Summit Point will always be my home track in my heart.
I used to have a set of 18x8 track wheels that I would run scrub Hoosier R6's but I sold them to fix some damage on my Z after HyperFest. Now that I have a roll bar (which I am getting further bracing welded in this week. it turns out that bars are like tattoos and you can't just get some... :icon38:) my next purchase has to be a Hans device and then tires. It's nice to see that Mike is still lurking out there! |
Trade pending...
