installed some 6000k HID's (crappy pic)
I meant to take pictures during the install but found myself in a rush as a storm rushed in while mounting the ballasts. This is a crappy pic of the output but I have yet to take better ones. I had these same HID's in my old '03 Accord Coupe and RSX-S and never had any problems. I even thought about getting some OEM's but I like being different so these were perfect. They are made by Supervision and I got them for $241 shipped. Cheap yet functional. :icon39:

Thanks. I just need a better shot to show the output on the ground. That was snapped just after I turned them on so they were warming up for about 15secs or so. |

Ben Y AAM They are brighter than the OEM HID's with a little more blue when looking at them head on. The higher the k rating, the more blue/purple they will be and you'll sacrifice light output. 6000k is almost perfect but you might be able to get 8500-9000k HID's without losing too much functionality. It all depends on the kit you purchase. Most cars you see that look very deep blue/purple have projector headlights and it will give that effect but their rating is around 3200k. |
