Yeah, the one with the license plate is S/C'd. He's a 56 year old techie who installed the kit himself in his garage and street tuned the car using a Wideband and a laptop. He's never had the car on a dyno so we don't know what the numbers are, but it's near 600 at the wheels. It is a pretty conservative tune I believe since the '01 vipers have cast pistons (they stopped using forged pistons/rods in mid-99 ). I believe it's a 5 lb pulley.

Is that sarcasm, or do you define nice as 22 inch chrome fanjets with spinners?

I agree. On my car (the ACR with the BBS wheels), I have fully adjustable suspension, including ride-height. I've contemplated taking about a half inch out of it, but I just don't want to deal with driveability issues. Been there, done that, and it really takes a lot of the pleasure out of driving the car.

Really? You car before was low?

Great pics Kelly. I know you took those pics, too many on the ground shots . Love your car, and nevermind that comment about the wheels, those "stockers" look solid.

LOL...yeah, I love the low angle shots. I was reviewing the shots after the shoot and I was like "damn, I spent way too much time laying on the ground today....

That is awesome-I saw that thing the one night down at Chic-fil-a. Any chance you think he'd be down for a friendly run?

While it wouldn't hurt to ask, I sincerely doubt it. He's one of those guys who bought his car new back in '01 and has only put like 2500 miles on it. He just doesn't drive the car that much. The whole time we were out driving over the weekend, he never once stretched its' legs.

On a side note, someone got a picture of us on the road that day. A Viper owner in Melbourne Australia found this picture on a blog-site he follows that's run buy a guy in Michigan who was in town visiting his daughter. They were getting ready to go sight-seeing so they had a camera handy...what are the odds.

Hey Kelly!

Sweet pictures!!!

My one and only gripe, small one at that, is why you guys didn't take off the license plate on the Bumblebee with the black rims?

Again, awesome pictures!

Kit

Yeah, after the fact, we wondered that same question. It's a great license plate given the kind of car, but it would have looked better if we had removed it for the shoot. Maybe next time!
