Default They got me..... Suggestions

MID-A, so here I sit the only person in the world that didn't know know Tweeter was totally going out of business.

The Story: ZRuggernDC biys a few thousand dollars in audio stuff for the Z. Z gets half way done and then sent to Function:uned to get boosted.
Rolling out of Function:Tuned this week so went by Tweeter to figure out when I could get the audio upgrades finished.

The Deal: They closed the store and have the following items that I paid for: JL Audio W6 subwoofer
2 JL Audio Amps
1 1/2 Farad Cap
Alpine DVD Navigation System
Alpine Blue Tooth intergration system
350Z Doors insides
350Z custom trunk pieces

Consider me pissed the freak off...

My cop friend told me to go there tomorrow and call and file a report so that they can see if they can track down the manager to try and find out where my crap is..

Doors are closed. Tweeter is bankrupt. Bankruptcy court decides who get what.

- Treat it like a theft. Also, try to go online and find out where the next closest open store is so you can at least speak to a live person.

If that doesn't work, tell them you will show up at their store every Saturday between now and Christmas and tell every customer that walks in how they have ripped you off and don't seem to care about it. Good Luck.

Looks like you're at the mercy of pencil pushers, lawyers, and bankruptcy judges/courts. You'll have to provide proof of what you owned that was there and wait for them to get it all back to you.

Or, if you're lucky, they'll get it to you promptly without the whole ordeal.

It may be in their possession, but if it is PAID for it is your property and thus belongs to you -- Bankrupt or not, that has nothing to do with the ownership of YOUR property.

If store is locked up tight, call corporate, and if they give you a run around file a police report.

Tweeter out here in Towson just shut their doors a few days back, they are moving inventory between stores in order to close up quicker. Try and find out which one is still open so you can talk to somebody.

If you got the dude's cell that would be awesome because no one is answering the phones at the Rockville or Townson Tweeter locations.

If anybody out there happens to drive by a tweeter location and see its open shot me a text at 404-805-0067 so I can jump on this before it gets to the point of no return. There's not a corporate site with contact numbers on it. Store Locator lists the stores in the different states and what not.

If I would have known they were closing I definitly would have gotten my stuff from them. I have done nothing but go to work and come home the last month. I only knew about the Circuit City at Tysons cause I go by there. The Tweeter location I was getting stuff done at wasn't in my pass by route.

I dunno, but I do have a loggers chain that I could hook up to the back door and find out.... Supposedly they just closed the doors yesterday.... I was like a few hours too late. My guess is that the plaza landlord has a contact number and when the police get involved they'll have to come and answer questions about the were abouts of my stuff. I have all the reciepts and everything to everything that was supposed to be installed and everything that was paid for. Only thing that was left was the final installation which I wouldnt pay them at the time because it was unfinished work..

I just spoked to an another good friend of mine, (actual installer @ Tyson's tweeter), he said to call corporate directly, and someone from the company will send someone to open the door for you to pick it up. He said, if you order from them, it should be all locked up inside. I dont know how easy for you to get it back.

OR: if you used your credit card, dispute the charge, tell CC company, you never received the item, and ur all set!

I just called your number (240 area code) to tell you the above, so good luck!

Dispute the charge on your credit card. Same thing happened when my brother pre-ordered a labtop from a company that went under.
