From G 30-FI on g35driver.com he wanted someone to post it here
I wanted to get a feeling on the level of interest for a BBQ @ Rockwood Park here in Richmond(Chesterfield County). I think the picnic area is relatively inexpensive and wanted to know if you guys/gals would be interested in playing softball, this way i could ask what the fee is to book a field to play on would cost. On another note, they do have basketball courts, swings and a children's play area so this will be open for the family.
I am sorry that this has taken me awhile to do a meet since some of you have asked me countless times when i was gonna host one. I had some other projects that i thought would be good for the club but didnt pan out the way that i would've liked. My idea would be to take a collection of money for food, drinks, plates, cups, and whatever else is needed. This way i could go to COSTCO or SAMS a couple of days before hand to get things together and ready for the BBQ.
Well, with all this being put out, everyones input would be appreciated in order for me to make this a very satisfying trip/bbq for everyone and hopefully, will be a annual event.
Thanks,
Tony D
