The NEW!: 5 Stop Poker Run Around NOVA

New for '09 is the addition of a POKER RUN.

The Mission: Should you choose to accept it...

We will begin at the shop at 10AM Sunday December 13th. The location of 4 (FOUR) Firehouses will be provided for you. At each of the 4(FOUR) Firehouses you will need to deliver 1 (ONE) BRAND NEW UN-OPENED TOY in exchange for 1 (ONE) Randomly selected Poker card. You will receive your 5th card when you return back to Funtion:TUNED.

The FINAL TABLE: Who's going all in?

The best hands will be determined once you deliver your 5th toy and receive your 5th card from Function:TUNED.

The Tie Breaker: Heads up all day baby!

In the case of a Tie Breaker the participants that have the tied hands will have to....

Battle it OUT:

Mano y Mano

or

Chica y Mano

or

Chica y Chica

....with a fresh hand from a fresh deck dealt randomly. The winner of the show down will take the prize.

The Prize: $800 of free ECU Goodness!

The winner will receive a Free UPREV ECU Flash and Free Custom Dyno Tune (2WD Only). This is a Value of $800! Regardless of your mods this will make the engine run smoother with better throttle response, more power and better fuel economy!

The Requirement: Make a difference and have a BLAST!

PLEASE BRING 5 (FIVE) BRAND NEW UN-OPENED TOY TO BE DONATED TO THE TOY FOR TOTS PROGRAM.

This is NON-TIMED event! All participants must obey all speed limits and driving laws while participating!

10AM – Meet Starts!
1PM – Eat! We're HUUUUNNNNGRY!
4PM – CRUISE to Firehouse for FINAL Toy Drop-off!

The Meet: Puuuullllease! You know you're only coming to see how many ricer points everyone else has earned since the last meet.

Make a HUGE difference for the kids! Meet fellow ricers! Check out a ton of Nissan/Infiniti Haaawwwwwttttneeeessss. Make contacts and maybe learn something cool.

The Food: Yes it iiisssss the holidays! The FDA recently approved stuffing your gullet as much as possible. Research indicates it tastes good so eat it. Don't fake you know you wanna.

Come get some burgers and dogs and sodas. More importantly the sugar rush from S'Mores and Hot Chocolate will make it very very hard to drive smooth.

The Toys for Tots: Make a difference! Don't be selfish. Its not ALWAYS about MEMEMEME

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The Toys for Tots program wishes to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable natural resources - our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future. The program is a national effort administered locally, in whatever community the toys are collected is the community in which they will be distributed. The success of the program relies on volunteer support and community involvement.
