g37 19's on my 350z..thoughts?

So my babie has a 2008 g37. She has the 19's on there now. Im in the market for some rims at the moment and i thought of putting those 19's on my car. I think the g37 rears are 40offset and the 350z is 20?

how would it look on my car? would the g37 wheels look like it needs mad spacers?

Im wondering if i should do this or not.. Also, i noticed her tires are bigger as well.. meaning, i would probably have to get smaller tires or are they suffice? i planned on lowering the car 1 inch..

suggestions?

I did see the same rims i bought my wife though hahaha..

Not for me. The offset is way to weak on any stock wheels. You must add spacers and at that point why not just put some legit wheels on.

mainly cuz i'm just daily driving this car and didnt wanna go overboard with spending money on this car.

the stock 06's i like. i'd probably just put spacers on those i suppose... what size? i dont know...

but i just wanted to lower it an inch, put those 06's, maybe a lip kit or just a front lip, tint and call it day... but i would like an exhaust for sure.

Volks are pretty much mandatory in the Mid-A :icon17:

You're somewhat backwards from the average in that you are DD-ing the Z and using the Honda as your weekend car.

Other Mid-A standards are military experience, government job and F/I. Changing for stock wheel to stock wheel is a waste IMO, but to each their own.

I honestly don't care what people consider the "in" thing with wheels or mods. If you like what you like, so be it. That's kinda the mentality of most s2000 owners as well.

Backwards? have you tried to daily an s2000? its not very daily-driver friendly lol It's a lot more comfortable in the 350z and has the torque to get ya around without having to push the car to get it going.

And to each his/her own with their opinion. But like I said, it's just a daily so it's not something i'm planning on hooking up a lot. I simply just don't care too much for the touring wheels that I have on it now. But i wouldn't mind the 06 wheels.

And you're right about the military/government thing. Been in the army over 10 1/2 years. This place is crawling with them lol

fellow army guy :) and the used HKS's usually are around 6-800 most used good exhaust seem to sell for approximately half of the cost new.

H.M.F.I.C Feb 23, 2010 12:39 PM
