who's getting ready for show season spring/summer?
 

whats up! Right now my car is in the shop getting new goodies and prepping for the show season! Is anyone else planning on attending any shows or entering your car into the shows? If so what are your plans? Would it be your first time?

Last year was my first year entering the goofmobile into shows, I earned best paint hyperfest, best nissan 350z import face off, and tri state choice ocean city. This year I am trying to win MORE! so I am going with some force induction,more aggressive stance, interior will be re worked, and some more aesthetic mods!!! whos with me??

FId? Dang!! Thing will be a green monster. Im going to buy a set of wheels and tires. Possibly lower it a bit and that's it. Till I save to get the GTM supercharger kit

I guess I am? Need to get my front bumper repainted ASAP.

KYLE i miss you man! HAAHHA cant wait to kick it with u once the weather gets better! The GTM kit is dope!! you ever think about the HKS? What are you lowered with? And what wheel set you thinking?

^ Yea I'm trying to. Been busy the past week and two with the new house. But I'm gonna make some time this weekend to put that resume together like you suggested.

i dont think HKS made a kit for the HR. im just going to get the basic Eibach lowering kit and im looking at some 19" rotas or varrstoen. the varrstoen 3.3.2 look pretty good with the gunmetal.

Kyle if you're gonna get rims get something more legit!! I know you're concerned about price. But just wait around for a good deal!

I'm still working on mine.....dang JDM parts are taking forever to arrive, tho!!! Looking forward to seeing the Goofmobile at shows this year!

This will be season #2 for me. Ocean City, MD. (both times), ZdayZ in Deals Gap, NC., ZCON in Savannah, GA., and Z1's Z Nationals in Carrollton, GA. will be my major highlights for the 2011 year.

Every year I aim for Best Swirl Mark Pattern or Most Curbed Wheels. Almost took it this year....sooooo close!! :0(

HA good question. I've been wanting to do that for years but never got around to it. The problem is that the piping of the procharger has both in and out pipes on the same side. But all the other intercoolers are designed to have one pipe on one side and the other pipe on the other. So if you want to upgrade intercooler you'd have to custom fab a pipe which could cost a lot of money not to mention I dunno if that'd affect the performance. See if Frank Hills has any good suggestions for you.

I'm down. I'm going with the R35 body kit this season. I'm still looking for someone to add the 2 TV's to my sub box and the car should look pretty nice.

I plan to race this year for sure. Im sure I will do a few shows here and there but nothing like last year.

Most of my time/energy/money will be concentrated on the wedding.

My AutoX season starts in March so I will be racing exclusively. Took second overall last year in my class and plan on winning this year.

I hope to make a couple SCCA events this year man! I can dedicate to it like you and mike this year with the wedding and all but this will be my year to build experience and hopefully test out some stickier tire then I can bring it on in 2012!

BTW let me know if you still want the valve covers. They are sitting here for you

That would be awesome if you could make the SCCA events. I'm going to try and sprinkle in some of those as well. I can understand the wedding taking most of your time, but in 2012 you can come strong!! I'm still contemplating going full slicks and going up a class or getting some star specs and staying in my current class. I am going to be doing some maintenance soon so I will definitely be in touch about those. Thanks mang!!!
