These lil F'rs are strong!

Yes, That's a 1" wrench! Some things are worth paying a little more for I guess.

I don't get it.....how can you put a 1" wrench in your oil pan?

Lulz, jp, is this f/s here?

R350Zz33 09-25-2012 08:39 PM

they only thing that sux is when you are changing the oil and forget its magnetic and it takes a second to move out the was and your hand gets covered in oil but it makes it easy to keep track of i stick it to the sway bar

go to radio shack and buy some 2$ rare earth magnets. buy some 3$ JB weld and attach magnet to stock oil drain plug.

Buy a nice 6 pack of beer with the change :)

Just a quick question, with an all aluminum engine, what use will a magnet be? What possible ferrous or other magnetic metals could chip off and be floating around in a Z engine? Not trying to be a smart-azz, really just wondering.

deanfootlong 09-26-2012 01:46 PM

just put a magnet on the bottom of your pan. i have one and its been there for 30k+ miles. its roughly the size of my palm and half an inch thick.

The VQ35DE is not all aluminum....the block is, but not necessarily the rest of the engine...

The rings are steel as are the bearings I think.

Only thing aluminum is the block, pistons and head castings, Everything else is steel, rings, cams, oil pump gears, timing chains ect.

All one has to do is contact us for cheaper shipping, This goes for just about anything. Website calculations can be a little off sometimes, Smaller items esp.

If this is the ONLY thing you would be ordering I would recommend calling or PM or E-mail to order. We strive not to overcharge on shipping.
