2010 Harley Iron, Blacked out, modified $8K in VA
I figured I'd list this guy here just in case anyone is looking for a nice Harley....practically new and you can't get one like this for less money anywhere. Still has a factory warranty for another year and 1/2. Bike is located in VA BEACH.
I am looking to sell my 2010 H.D. Iron (otherwise known as XL 883 N). I've done a LOT of customization to this bike. I purchased it in October of 2009, and it is still under the 3 yr factory warranty. It has about 950 miles on it. I ride it a couple times a week, but have a very short commute to work (4 miles). It has been on one quick road trip down to Hatteras and back but nothing extensive. I've never had one problem with the bike and have no problem letting someone test drive it or take it to a mechanic to have it checked out. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the bike in my opinion, but some of the mods may not be to everybody's taste. One great thing about this bike is that you get the insurance rates of an 883, while having the performance of a 1200 Nightster. I'm selling at blue-book, and have lots of money invested in aftermarket parts. I am only selling the bike because I've started a new kit chopper and I still have another bike to ride...this one is going just so I can fund my new engine. I will try to list as much of the mods as I can think of: ***Tuner: I have a TTS tuner kit (www.mastertune.net). This kit comes with all the bells and whistles and allows for laptop monitoring and adjustability to the tune. I did a lot of research and the 'TTS' manufacturer is the same as the 'SERT' (screaming eagle), but their product is much better than the SERT because they've upgraded the software and tuning parameters ***Vance & Hines 2into1 race exhaust (black)...still have original exhaust and all hardware ***Ness Big Sucker air intake (black)...still have original intake and all hardware ***Drag bars with a 4" pull back ***HD Dark Custom Grips ***Dark Custom covers on the engine ***Licks Cycle slimline bobber seat (white)...(not pictured...$300) ***Mirrors dropped and reversed ***Speedo delete on the handlebars (custom $100 piece from ebay) ***Speedo relocated to frame below gas tank ***Tank raised 2.5" and all wires tucked for a clean look ***Ignition moved to custom bracket on the engine ***Leather solo bag on left side of bike ***Dark lenses installed on turn signals and brakes ***Turn signals relocated to forks instead of bars ***Rear signals shortened to be closer to bike ***Custom side license plate bracket low on left side near wheel bolt ***Almost forgot to mention this bike also has LoJack...which is a lifetime security feature that will drop insurance prices Please no trade offers at this time....this is a pristine condition 2010 still under factory warranty http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/q...e/IMG_2543.jpg http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/q...e/IMG_2542.jpg http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/q...s/IMG_2507.jpg http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/q...s/IMG_2506.jpg http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/q...s/IMG_2508.jpg |

***Speedo relocated to frame below gas tank |
hahah thx Advan. Got so excited finding this i overlooked that

It's a good looking bike for what seems to be a hell of a deal.

I'm not going to fudge the facts on this bike...it is a great deal for those looking. I have spent countless hours on xlforum learning things just like I have here on my350z. Saying this, I've found countless threads of people doing mods that I personally think looks good, so I've mimic'd them in my own way. I don't have a ton of money in this bike so I think the deal is good for the buyer and for me. All work has been done by me and I can answer all questions
and yes...speedo isn't the easiest to read but I just can look down and see it when I have to. This bike is a 'bar-hopper' that i wouldn't recommend to the guy who wants to go on a road trip due to the harsh ride...but to each his own also not mentioned above are installed 10" struts in place of shocks (shocks come with sale also)....struts are a new addition to accompany the bobber seat. The seat should arrive this week (hopefully). Was purchased 8 weeks ago from Licks Cycles before I hit this $$$ crunch and I've been waiting for it ever since. I sold the LePera Solo seat in the pictures last week for $100 because I thought the new seat would already be here. The stock seat that I took the 'my350z' pics with is a neighbors seat off their stock nightster |

"How loud is it?"...very loud, but not as loud as u might expect...at idle it's okay. I live in a townhouse community and have never had a complaint, but when you're on the throttle it's a beast. "is it comfy?"...no...haha, not much at all. I've driven a couple street bikes and an antique cafe style but this takes the cake for rough rides. I have a 5mi commute to work so I have no complaints there, but I took a 60mi road trip to Hatteras last summer and had a back ache for a few days after. The struts look great and give the bike a lowered look but you'd want to put the shocks back on if you're looking for comfy (also included in sale) |

Beast looking bike!, I just got a Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster last week and am looking to black it out and do similar mods that you have done. The bike looks great, GLWS! |
