Oh yeah my bad. No I was just being an arrogant American but I guess I missed my point.

Translation what are you talking about. (Java)

Este "thread" se puso interesante, no hay porque argumentar en quien tiene mejor gramatica, sino en comprender que todos somos americanos y tenemos las mismas nesecidades.

Translation:

Damn, I was wrong about the Weight / HP ratio so I'll just pretend I didn't see his reply

There are a lot of things that your friend hasn't replied to. As for the weight, I was talking (again) of the WS6 that raced the 350 not the LS1 of your firend. Is that so hard to understand? That there are no two cars alike?

We can't even assume similar weights between 2 different cars? He used a weight of 3500 lbs for the WS6, which is on the high side for just the car. Mine weighed 3475 lbs at the drag strip with 1/2 tank of gas.

My car weighs 3520lbs (1/8 tank), that is with heavy arse Double Diamond Subframe connectors from SLP, much heavier Lower Control Arms from BMR, and a strut tower brace. All this added up easly added another 60lbs to the weight of my car. Having a T/A Firehawk I have every option but the CD changer. It is very safe to assume that the car that was raced by the author weighed NO MORE than 3500 lbs.

I still want to see his numbers for the 1/4 from the 330' and the dyno graph. I think our friend here is avoiding these questions because he doesn't have them and never had them. C'mon dude, you have one of the greatest times around with your car and you can't find the timeslip? BS

Two things I'm gonna say:

1) Maybe if you compare my #'s with yours you will say that your car is faster (because of your theory) and assume that ALL THE LS1 A4 are faster that my Z, but the big point in here is that you can't do that because not all the Ws6 are the same and not all street races are the same. Thats why most of us say "ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE STREETS".

2) I'm not posting my #s because I'm not a "Show off", I post it in the signature for all Z owners to see what the car is capable, not to show that is the fastest in the forum. I know they are a lot of projects out there and they are gonna be a lot faster than me. Saying that, I'm gonna keep modifying my car, so I'm gonna keep beating faster cars and better cars. What is the point of figthing of something that for me is another kill, big deal, there gonna be a lot more... I promise!

What about sharing info is "showing off?" I'm sure some of your fellow 350Z would like to see too. If everybody works together you can see what works and what doesn't work...

Swank 03-13-2003 10:44 AM

I am not asking you to brag. Me asking you to post your 1/4 mile times isn't making you brag. What are you like 13, do you not understand that?

I am curious to see how strong your car pulls from the 330' mark and on. You avoiding the question and then saying you don't want to BRAG seems to make me think you are trying to avoid the fact that maybe you don't have them.

sharing info is "showing off?" NO, but none of the Z owners ask about it in threads, all the members that PM me asking about my car, I answer rigth away w not problem!

Swank 03-13-2003 11:14 AM

I sent you a PM asking for your numbers. Now can I see em?

Strange... Based on your MPH and weight you listed. ~280rwhp
Based on your ET.. ~245rwhp

Your ET vs MPH is VERY confusing.
