Default Had fun at track day! (pics too)

It was sprinkly weather and I stayed about 3 hours and made 7 runs. I did a 13.35 and lost that slip. So I will have to stick with the slips I have (slips were all over the inside of my car lol) that time shows on my dial in though. If it didn't start raining harder I may have tried to break out but I parked and quit.

Never once fully hooked. I am still running only a 65HP Shot and regular tires. My 75HP Jets and some DR's in the back will really help, it's so addicting.

Anyways my best was 13.41 @105mph with a 2.1 60' not bad for an Auto on regular radials! Can't burn out either because of this stupid 30 % power loss when power braking crap.

I need instructions on how to cut that wire anyone?

I also have the 4 best time slips scanned in and you can't read them. They have new slips this year. White if you when and yellow if you lose so you can't cheat and keep running. All of mine are white and you can't see the lettering. Can anyone fix this? I will try and attach it.

Anyways here is the link to some pics

addiction!

The time slip scan is too big someone want to play with it I can email it?

I was thinking I can take them to a copier and put it on a real dark setting?

The track prep sucked and the new time slips suck even worse. Picture a cash register receipt on low ink. That is what they look like. 4 of them fit easily on my small flatbed scanner.

Thanks all,

I know where I stand on stock tires (non DR's)

It was consistant 13.4 on the bottle, I did a 13.9 motor run. I can't do any beter than 13.4 on these tires (Nitto's)

I am not wasting any more juice until I get DR's and up my Jets to 75HP, Hopefully May 21st against the Mustangs!

I suspect 3 tenths from that which is pushing 12.9, that would be sweet!

Edit add, I had the bottle up to 1000 by keeping it my buds car with the heat on high in between runs.

Last spring I had 1200 on the guage when I ran my best.

Thanks,

I am gonna add the 100HP Jets , that was with 65HP and add DR's and run again in May and also a bottle heater. Another 450 bucks but necassary. 450 bucks for 7 or 8 tenths sounds good, One run and the bottle is cold. We were using two bottles while one was in use the other was in a ver y hot heated car with a blanket over it. It was a PITA to switch bottles, and the pic is my buddy that lowered the car.

I think I can get a 1.7 60' at 12.8 with this setip up. That's a goal, anything better is butter.

I am taking my slips to work tonight becuase the site has a copier and see if I can get the light slips to show better then scan them in.
