Are people really running in the 13's stock?
 

I don't mean to sound like I'm calling people a liar but I was just surprised to see a few posts claiming stock 13.8-9's and nobody seemed shocked.

Is this what everyone can expect out of their cars?

There are quite a few people that have run high 13's. One guy ran a 13.6, he only had his resonater removed. Given decent conditions and a decent driver it seems high 13's are totally possible.

I ran 14.1 in a stock G35 coupe...expect to go 13s this week (stay tuned!!!)

I expect the stock 350Z in the hands of the right pilot would go a couple of clicks faster because of the weight advantage.

Driver makes a hell of a lot of difference- I used to own an 11 second mustang and I bracket raced the crap out of it...so I'm no stranger to the 1/4 mile. Also, I know enough to keep the car very COLD between passes, no idling or revving it up to 9 grand to show off here....
