Best RPM's for launch
 

What RPM's do you launch at?

The other day I launched my Z at 2K, no wheelspin or traction problems. I did not, however, switch off the VCD. It just took off very quickly without any problems. I haven't tried any launching points, I'm sure someone else on the board may have some more advice.

By the way, I'm in OC too. Anaheim to be exact.

2.047 60' by launching at 2500 and slip out the clutch/give it gas just enough not to create too much wheel spin..

I usually launch at 6400 rpms. I take off the TCS. i usually end up with 5 secs of wheel spin, and semi redlining in first gear. my opponent usually takes off, and i am still at the line. So i just give up. Good times. No seriously, i think around 2500-2800 is good launching, i have heard of a Z launching at 3100 rpm with no wheel spin, how? what? huh?Never Tried it.
