Looking for the best brand+sizes to fit my track wheels to run my car at auto x and circuits?;)

Track wheels are 18x8 & 18x8.5

If you plan to get track tires, they are commonly available in 245/40 which would work great all four corners. Or maybe 245/40f 255/40r

^+1. For track. 245/40 front and 255/40 are the best

When a tire is wider than a wheel by a good size margin, such as a 265-width mounted on a 8.5" wide wheel, you won't be taking full advantage of the extra rubber because your sidewalls won't be as vertical as they would be--ideal for handling--w/ something like a 245/255 wide tire.

BTW...wrong forum.

If you did that the sidewall flex would offset any traction benefit of the wider footprint. If you are FI, I would recommend getting aftermarket wheels at least 8.5f and 9.5r and going 245/40f 275/35r
